Houston Fashion Week
October 2025
Houston Fashion Week is a testament to the city’s rapidly growing fashion scene, positioning itself alongside global fashion capitals like New York, Milan and Paris.
With a mission to nurture talent, drive economic growth, and establish Houston as a fashion destination, this week-long event will be a cornerstone of the city’s fashion landscape.
Featuring a red carpet where local figures mingle with national and international celebrities, the event will bring together designers from Texas, New York, and beyond, creating a truly global fashion celebration.
Adding to the excitement, this year’s Houston Fashion Week includes a themed party, "The Pharaoh," featuring a black dress attire competition. The event will showcase designers from Latin America and Spain, including talents from Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Republica Dominicana, and more.
Attendees can also look forward to a special Flamenco Night, with vibrant performances of rumba, samba, and mambo, and an African Fashion Summit, Black Designers Showcase. Celebrating 17 years as the nation's first multicultural fashion event.

Fashion Week 2025 – Pop Up Shops

Overview
Each Fashion Week show features 10–15 Pop Up Shops from sponsors and brands looking to engage directly with event attendees and shoppers.
These activations are open to both Fashion Week ticket holders and the general public at the venue, providing maximum exposure.
All shows and activations take place outdoors at street level, with Pop Up Shops lining the walkways leading to the runways.

*Runway Designer Application**
Fashion Week Group invites all **apparel designers** to apply for participation in the 2025 runway presentations.
Applications are reviewed on a **first-come, first-served basis** by the Fashion Week Group Advisory Council.
Designers may showcase **between 3 and 20+ looks**, making this an ideal platform for both **emerging and established labels**.
EVENT DATES
Summer Preview Show**: June / July, 2025 – An exclusive one-day event to feature select designers ahead of the full week.
Main Event**: September (New York) October 6–12 (Houston), 2025 – A full week of runway shows, pop-up markets, industry panels, and the **African Fashion Summit**.
EVENT FORMAT
There will be **five total runway shows** during the October event:
* Thursday Evening
* Friday Evening
* Two Saturday Afternoon Showcases
* Saturday Night Feature Show
* **African Fashion Summit** – Sunday (Special Feature)
Each show will feature **8–12 designers**, presenting approximately **200 total looks** across the event. Designers will be assigned to specific shows based on themed
groupings developed from the pool of applications.
NOTE:** Only **apparel designers** are currently being accepted. Jewelry and accessory designers may apply to the “**Pop-Up Shops**” section.

Final Participation Fee Deadline**: July 1, 2025
All applications are evaluated upon receipt. Once reviewed, applicants will receive a **Yes**, **No**, or **Waitlist** status. Approved designers will enter into a formal
agreement and receive an invoice. **Participation is non-refundable and non-transferable**.

Fashion Week Group hosts some of the most dynamic fashion events in major cities across
the country, including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and
Austin. Our events spotlight emerging talent while drawing national media attention and
supporting local nonprofit organizations.
A limited number of press credentials will be issued for our upcoming Fashion Week shows.
We welcome members of the media to apply for access to cover the event, but due to high
demand and limited space, priority will be given to established media outlets with a
significant audience or regional/national reach.
If your outlet does not meet these criteria, we invite you to support the event by
purchasing a ticket. Your attendance still contributes to our mission of uplifting creative
talent and giving back to the community.
There is no fixed deadline for press applications, but early submissions are encouraged to
increase your chances of approval.

Supporting Children with Autism Through the Power of Siberian Huskies
Fashion Week Group is proud to go beyond fashion in our commitment to making a meaningful impact. One of the causes
closest to our hearts is our partnership with the Siberian Husky Camp of America, a program dedicated to working with
purebred Siberian Huskies to provide therapeutic and service support for children with autism.
The Heart of the Program
Siberian Huskies are known for their intelligence, gentle nature, and deep bond with humans—qualities that make them
exceptional partners in therapy and support work. Through structured training and compassionate handling, these dogs
become more than companions: they become bridges to communication, calm, and connection for children on the autism
spectrum.
Whether assisting with emotional regulation, providing sensory comfort, or encouraging social engagement, the presence of a
trained Siberian Husky can be transformative for a child and their family.
